init [ --path=sub-folder, -p sub-folder ] gpg-id...
Initialize new password storage and use gpg-id for

each pass‐
word with multiple ids. This command must be run

is different
files will be reencrypted to use the new id. Note that use of
gpg-agent(1) is
recommended so that the batch decryption does not
require as much user intervention. If --path or -p is specified,
along with an
argument, a specific gpg-id or set of gpg-ids is
assigned for that specific sub folder of the password store. If
only one gpg-id
is given, and it is an empty string, then the
current .gpg-id file for the specified sub-folder (or root if
unspecified) is
removed.

Hello guys,
First say that I love pass, it's simplicity and how it leverages on top
of git and gpg.
I have searched this mailing list about the best way of migrating my
pass store from one GPG key to another (with google
site:lists.zx2c4.com), as I plan to move to gpg subkeys, unrelated to
the key I have now.
Is there a preferred way of doing this, other than extracting all the
encrypted info by hand and opening a new store?
In case there isn't currently a better way of doing this, how could be
done, taking into account I would need the old and new keys to make the
migration? just copy-paste .password-store/ and decrypt the gpg files
with the old key by hand?
Thanks in advance,
