Please keep the latest Git submodule at a stable version, e.g. 2.9.3 for master branch. I'm okay with this change being in a pu branch, to be merged to next and eventually master later. (Ignoring the fact that cgit doesn't have those branches, currently.) Note that I'm not a maintainer of cgit.
