I use pass file names of the form website.com/username. Tab completion on the website name gets me the username, which I then just type in (after pasting the password). This seems quicker than switching back to the term and adding a username flag.

Unless you (for some reason) use non-pronounceable usernames, I don't see the need for it to be on the clipboard.
