Let me guess: You were updating GnuPG 2 recently and you were using a
PGP2-style before (or you have at least one in your keystore)?

Please try, whether or not you're still able to sign GPG-keys (with no
password-store involved). If not possible and you can reproduce it,
please report it to Werner Koch.
