[Pull request] Use comptopt only when available

The following two commands set the homebrew version as my terminal default:

sudo bash -c 'echo /usr/local/bin/bash >> /etc/shells'
chsh -s /usr/local/bin/bash 

You can verify it with echo $BASH_VERSION
