copying password to clipboard hangs kitty terminal ?

Hello,

I have a problem with pass while using it inside kitty terminal emulator
(this one https://github.com/kovidgoyal/kitty).  Indeed, when copying a
password to the clipboard and exiting the terminal with the "exit"
command, the terminal "hangs". I could not reproduce this issue with
termite (https://github.com/thestinger/termite/) so I assumed it was a
kitty issue. It is apparently the expected behavior for kitty, thus I
was redirected to you.
