Wow, that's some weird behavior. I just poked at the source and indeed it seems unconditional. Thanks for writing in about this. Can you resubmit this, but without changing the formatting / line length, and without adding that comment? `git blame` is fine for the rationale. Just a good ol `3>&-` will do the trick. Thanks, Jason
