1024 is low resolution for modern screens

I'm seeing that the bigger "thumbnail" that photofloat produces is a 1024
pixels one

However, on my 1980 x 1080 screen a landscape oriented photo with 1024
width is shown by photofloat enlarged, thus loosing sharpness: it appears
blurred.

I think 1600 pixels should be used as max sized thumbnail.

Or is there a way to avoid the problem I'm facing?
