I'm not sure if this patch made it to master or not, but I'd find this feature really usefull too and I fail to see how we could call it bloat!

I use my laptop for presentations, in meetings, go through TSA, etc. such that I try to minimize trust in the privacy of my screen, so I avoid running pass without -c if possible and a tail lets me get at my metadata without the password.
