I did not mean to say that I do not like the way pass works. I did mean
to say that I have no reason to like the -c option of GPG to be used in
pass.
And I think I will continue to use my private key with pass, I was just
trying to do some thinking about this proposal.
And I also know that asymmetric encryption with GPG uses symmetric
encryption internally. But this is a technical detail (and maybe a
security detail), my thought was about the use case and the interaction
the user has to do with pass/gpg/pinentry/gpg-agent.
