Marking clipboard items as transient?

Hi,

I was just wondering if there's a way (or one could be implemented) to mark
clipboard items as transient on macOS. The reason I ask is many external
clipboard managers/utilities record the clipboard in their own ways, only
ignoring it if it's marked transient. I'm still not exactly sure what all
this means, except that alfred app for macOS was keeping my passwords even
past their deletion time by pass.
