Override pinentry program in a terminal

I use pass mostly with browser using FFPass. For this to work, I had to
install `pintentry-mac` so the dialog box would appear to decrypt the
password. However sometimes it’d be more useful to just use terminal
instead when I’m working on command line.
Is there some kind of environment variable that could be use for this? I
tried doing something like `DISPLAY=“” pass -c mypassword` but with
no luck (I’m on macOS).
